About DTI
From our beginning in early 2000, Drawing Technology Inc. (DTi) has been raising the bar in the Wire, Fastener and Concrete industries by focusing on every aspect of the machines we make and ensuring that our equipment is designed using the latest in technology. During this time, we’ve established ourselves as the premiere vendor in these industries by taking a "proactive" rather than a "reactive" role in addressing the customer’s needs.
DTi brings a complete new approach to such things as safety, operator controls, electrical and mechanical design, after sale service and support. We introduced innovative features like lift off draw boxes, self-storing grippers, two hand two speed jog systems and PLC controls. In most cases these features are standard on our equipment. These, along with other functioning improvements, allowed us to include a three-year warranty on most components as standard on our wire drawing equipment. While continuing to work in the traditional wire and fastener industries, DTI has expanded into two completely new markets by designing such equipment as CNC servo press feeds for the press and stamping industry and high speed Mini Wire Mills to recoil and level wind wire for the concrete pipe and wire processing industries.
Our working relationships with production and special equipment manufacturers such as Shuster, Videx, Faster Equipment Corp, Zublin, Barbarotto Machinery Group, Micro Welders, National Machinery, Nedschroef, Schlusselbauer and others allow us to work together to ship complete turnkey systems to our customers. These relationships have established us as a leader in the industry in interfacing with OEM’s and custom machine builders working in all phases of application engineering, design and installations.
